Swinehart is MINK All Star Game MVP

The MINK league North All Stars beat the South All Stars 5-3 in the annual All Star game, held this year in Jefferson City.
Chillicothe Mudcat Josh Swinehart gave the North team the lead for good with a three-run home run to left field in the bottom of the sixth inning. Swinehart was selected as the All Star Game MVP.
Taylan Mullins-Ohm of the Clarinda A’s won the MINK League Home Run Derby. He beat Chillicothe Mudcat Greyson Barrett in the semi-finals of the Home Run Tournament.
The Mudcats return to regular season play tonight when they host Jefferson City in the first of a two-night series Tonight’s game has a 7:05 first pitch.
