The 33rd annual Chillicothe Lion’s Club Car Show is this weekend at Simpson Park. One of the organizers, Kim Bloss, says the event begins Friday night with the cruize night in Downtown Chillicothe.
The cars begin to gather as soon as the streets are closed, but officially things begin at 7:00 pm. The cruize leaves from downtown about 7:30 and will travel north to the nursing homes and back to the downtown area. The event continues until 10:00, with vendors and music.
Saturday, the Carshow begins with the swap meet at 6:00 am. Bloss says the registration begins at 7:00.
There will be drawings, including one that is part of a fundraiser that makes a donation to the Chillicothe Parks.
She says they will have several plaques presented.
The public is invited to come out and check out the cars.
