The Flood warnings for the Grand River have changed significantly as Thursday’s storms moved south of their original path and rain in the local area was less than expected.
The Flood Warning for Chillicothe has been canceled as the river will stay well below flood stage of 24 feet.
At Brunswick, minor flooding is expected as the river will rise above flood stage of 26 feet around midday, cresting at 27.5 feet and falling back below flood stage Saturday morning.
At Brunswick, the river has fallen to 14.7 feet as of Thursday evening and flooding is not expected at Brunswick.
