The Chillicothe Hornets Football team has their home opener Friday at Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium against the Kirksville Tigers.
Hornets Coach Chad Smith says after the attendance regulations last season, it will be good to play at home in front of a crowd, including students.
Kirksville will be looking for their first win of the season, after giving up a big lead last week and eventually losing to Macon 42 to 41. Kirksville Coach Kevin Krietemeyer said it was tough loss.
KCHI will broadcast the game live Friday night with the pregame show at 6:30 and kick off at 7:00pm.
The Coach Chad Smith show will be tonight on KCHI at 5:45 and will include Lineman Christian Peniston on this week’s Senior Spotlight
