The Chillicothe Lady Hornets had two big innings in an 8-2 home softball win over Lawson 8 to 2,
Chillicothe scored four in the second, three in the fourth and added one more run in the sixth inning, off of ten hits.
Kinlei Boley had two doubles, two RBI and a walk. Hope Helton had a double and single with two RBI, Kirsten Dunn with two singles. Sophia Luetticke, Mika Hibner, Halle Rucker and Jolie Bonderer each had a single.
Boley had the start in the circle with Rucker in relief the final two innings. They combined to allow five hits with three strike outs and two walks.
