The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 111 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:
8:13 am, Officer out in the 800 block of Industrial Drive on a complaint of dogs at large. Officer obtained owner information about the dogs. Officer made contact with the owner and found that there is an issue with the fencing, allowing the dogs to escape. The owner will remedy the situation.
2:14 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Second Street for an unattended toddler child in the street. A parent was located, taken to the PD, where the investigation continues.
8:28 pm, Officer out in the 400 block of Mack Street with an 11-year-old reporting being assaulted near the railroad tracks on Jackson Street. The assailant was described as a Middle School age boy. The investigation is continuing.
8:51 pm, Officers at Hedrick Medical Center for a report of an 11-year-old being bitten by a dog at Danner Park. Investigation continuing.
10:12 pm, Officer out in the 1300 block of Green Street on follow-up investigation into a reported dog bite. Information received and dog owner cited for no City license.
