MainStreet Chillicothe is the recipient of NAP credits totaling nearly $133,000.  The credits are awarded to the Livingston County Community Development Corporation, which will use donations received as part of this NAP project for the continuation of the MainStreet Chillicothe Program.  The Missouri Department of Economic Development awarded $12.6 million in NAP Credits to non-profits across the state of Missouri.

The MainStreet program promotes downtown revitalization and economic development, improving the downtown environment through programs that include: facade renovation of downtown properties, support of current downtown businesses with a monthly visit, and solicitation of new businesses to the downtown.
