The financing for the purchase of the new Industrial Park ground was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. The financing is through Security Bank of Kansas City and is a 20-year lease-purchase agreement that includes $1.9 million with an interest rate of 3.5%. Joey McCliney is the person that handled the financing of the property and talked about the agreement.
The council and Mayor signed the papers on the agreement at the meeting Monday night.
