The Chillicothe R-II School District will ask the voters to move forward with the expansion project at the Chillicothe Elementary School. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says this would be through a NO LEVI INCREASE bond. Dr Wiebers talked about the reasons to move forward with the project.
Wiebers says the cost is expected to be about $9 million and the project would be completed for the start of the 2024 school year.
He says they need to tweak the ballot language.
The date of that meeting has not been determined.
