If you are planning to be a candidate for School Board or other elected offices that are on the April 5th ballot, you have until the end of business (5 pm) next Tuesday, December 28th, to file as a candidate.
The filing for Chillicothe School Board takes place at the District Office, just north of the High School.
Filing for other school districts will take place at their district office.
Filing of other offices includes: city offices for Chula, Ludlow, Mooresville, Utica, and Wheeling, the Public Water Supply Districts, Nursing Home Board, and Ambulance District.
Filing for the Ambulance District is at the County Clerks Office. Other filings take place at the office for that organization.
Many of the offices may be closed for a portion of the filing period due to the holiday. You may want to call that office before heading in to file as a candidate.
