The C.L.A.A. Basketball Tournament has crowned their champions.
In the final games on Saturday,. Higbee beat Hardin Central for the Boys title 72 to 45, Braymer girls beat Tina-Avalon 45 to 41 for the girls championship and Northwestern boys beat Braymer for Third Place 53 to 50.
Area players named to the all tournament team were: Girls Team Regan Crowe – Tina Avalon, Jordyn Meseberg – Braymer, Kadie Rounkles – Tina Avalon, Ronnie Welch – Higbee and Most Valuable Player Raylee Hawkins of Braymer On the Boys team: Jordan Fuemmeler of Higbee, Brayden Schick of Hardin Central, Hayden Harms of Northwestern, Mason Freece of Hardin – Central and the MVP was Derek Rockett of Higbee;
Southwest won the Sportsmanship award with Norborne second and Hale third.
