Candidates interested in several County offices can begin filing Tuesday. The Primary Election will be held on August 2nd for several offices.
In Livingston County, that includes:
Associate Circuit Judge, Presiding Commissioner, County Clerk, Recorder of Deeds, Circuit Court Clerk, and Prosecuting Attorney. These offices all have a four-year term.
Filing at the Secretary of State’s office in Jefferson City includes:
US Senate
All 8 US Representatives
State Auditor
17 State Senators – from the even-numbered districts
All 163 State Representatives
Candidates will have the opportunity to file, from February 22nd through March 29th.
