A resurfacing project in Putnam and Sullivan Counties could begin as early as next week. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Magruder Paving, LLC to complete the project that started last year and includes multiple routes.
The contractor plans to begin Monday with resurfacing on Sullivan County Route T between Highway 5 and Route T. Work on Route T is expected to take approximately one week. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
Other routes in this resurfacing bundle and their approximate start date include:
- March 21 – Route E in Putnam County from US 139 to the Iowa state line
- March 28 – Route 149 from Route 6 in Novinger (Adair County) to Route AA in Putnam County
- April 18 – Route K from US 136 in Putnam County to Route E in Sullivan County
Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project.
