State Troopers report one accident and two arrests in the area counties Monday.
A Wheeling man was injured in an accident that occurred as he was passing another vehicle. State Troopers report the accident happened on US 36, 2 miles east of Chillicothe at about 12:55 pm Monday. According to the report, 29-year-old Justin T Haddakin of Wheeling was eastbound and attempting to pass a semi, driven by 63-year-old Marvin A Tolle of Trenton. He ran into the back of the trailer and then went into the median. Haddakin was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Tolle was not injured.
Two Browning residents were arrested by State Troopers in Sullivan County.
At about 9:55 pm, Troopers arrested 43-year-old Travis E Clark of Browning for alleged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.
At about 10:05 pm, Troopers arrested 32-year-old Laticia D Smith of Browning for alleged possession of a controlled substance – Methamphetamine. She was processed and released.
