The Chillicothe R-II School District is in good financial condition. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says Fund 1 – the Incidental Fund – has a larger balance than has been seen over the past couple of years.
Wiebers says they have also worked to build that fund in other ways.
All of this shows in the district’s reserves. Wiebers says the goal of the board is to end the year with at least a 25% reserve balance and they expect to end this school year with a 30% balance.
