The Litton Ag Center is hosting the American Junior Aberdeen Association Nationals this week, with students from across the country participating by showing their livestock. Board Reporter Jordan Gilles from EauClaire Wisconsin says this breed is a bit smaller than typical cattle.
Gilles says the youth showing in this event range from grade school to college age.
The public is welcome to visit the grounds and find out more about the Aberdeen breed and the youth involved,
While this is the final show for this organization for the year, some of the owners will move on to other shows including the American Royal in Kansas City.
