Tuesday
1:02 a.m., Officers responded to a residence at the area of Lambert Dr. and Fairchild St. for a trash can on fire. Officers were able to locate a garden hose and put out the fire.
5:29 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of S. Washington St. The driver had two warrants from Cass County. The 23-year-old man was taken into custody and later posted bond.
10:58 a.m., Officers responded to a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Washington St. and Polk St. No injuries were reported. Minor damage to traffic light pole was reported.
11:41 a.m., Officers were called to the 100 block of Herriford Street to assist Probation and Parole. The investigation revealed a felony amount of marijuana present in the home. The suspect was processed and transported to DDRJ.
12:35 p.m., Officers responded to the 800 block of Fairway Dr. for possible drug paraphernalia located in a business parking lot.
7:55 p.m., Officers conducted a check on a 45-year-old male in the 1000 block of Graves St. It was determined that the individual had an active Probation and Parole warrant and was taken into custody and later taken to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Wednesday
5:03 PM, Officers took a report of a domestic incident from the 1400 block of Cooper and potential child abuse, statements have been collected, and the investigation is continuing.
