The Chillicothe Middle School 8th grade “A” Volleyball team took down Hamilton in a home match on Monday sweeping two sets. They won the sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-21. Eden French led in service points with 9.
The Chillicothe Middle School 8th grade Volleyball “B” team played in a tournament at Savannah on Saturday. They started the tournament by playing two pool play games. The Hornets dropped the first match against Bode (10-25)(13-25). They fell to Robidoux in the second match (19-25)(20-25).
In tournament play, the Lady Hornets played Truman and fell in two sets (13-25)(24-26).
Coach Madison Busse talked about her team’s play following the weekend.
“The girls improved so much from the first game to the last. With this being our first games of the season, I can’t wait to see how much the improve through an entire season.”
