The sentencing of Timothy D Marles occurred last week in Linn County on a charge of Rape in the First. Marles had been found guilty in July in Linn County Court. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with sentences to run consecutively with previous sentences in Livingston County.
Marles had been sentenced in Livingston County in April, 2022 to 10 years in the Department of Corrections (DOC) for Attempted Child Molestation in the Second Degree.
On September 13, 2022, in Miller County he was sentenced to 4 years in the DOC for Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15.
Missouri law defines Rape in the First Degree as a dangerous felony, requiring that he serve 85% of that sentence prior to being eligible for parole.
