A Fall Prevention Event will be held on Wednesday in the Gardens at Hedrick Medical Center. The event is through a partnership between Hedrick Medical Center and Livingston County Health Center, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Ann Burchett from the Health Center says this is part of their Aging in Place initiative.
Burchett says they will also have someone on hand to review your medication list to determine if some medications can cause you to feel lightheaded, dizzy, or sleepy, which can also make a person more likely to fall.”
She says there will be demonstrations and screenings.
