Chillicothe Lady Hornets Tennis top doubles team begin state doubles tournament play Friday.
Hunter Keithley and Hannah Cypert start their first match in Springfield at 9:00am Friday. They face Mount Vernon’s Lyndsey Hood and Kassidy Anderson.
It’s the second straight year for Keithley and Cypert in the doubles tournament.
Mount Vernon’s Hood is in the state tournament for the second year, but with a different partner.
The Class 1 State Team Champion has been crowned. John Burroughs finishing a perfect season with a win over Visitation Academy. The third place match went to Pembroke Hill which defeated Springfield Catholic.
