Chillicothe Police Officers handled numerous calls on Sunday.
2:51 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about the use of marijuana in the city parks. They were informed it is against city ordinance. Officers later responded to Simpson Park to check on the possible use of marijuana in the park, but were unable to locate anyone.
3:30 p.m., a business owner came to the Police Department to provide information for an ongoing stealing investigation. The investigation continues.
7:30 p.m., Officers took a report of a dog bite in the 200 block of Virginia Ave. where a dog bit another dog and its owner. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending. The Animal Control Officer will be conducting follow-up.
Officers also handled calls for assistance and followed up on numerous investigations.
