Nearly 180 calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Officers from Friday – Sunday.
Friday, May 31st
At 9:00 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Webster St. for a possible suicidal person. The person was assisted and transported to the hospital by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services (EMS).
At 1:42 p.m., Officers assisted EMS with a medical call in the 500 block of Paul St.
At 4:04 p.m., Officers arrested a 19-year-old man in the 500 block of Vine St on a Livingston County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of speeding (26 mph or more). The man posted $300.00 cash-only bond and was released.
At 8:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver in the 2800 block of Grand Dr. Officers responded, located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. A warning was given at that time.
Saturday, June 1st
At 1:10 a.m., Officers transported a prisoner to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 10:01 a.m., Officers took a report of leaving a scene of the vehicle crash in the 100 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. The investigation is ongoing.
At 8:07 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 block of Highland Ave. Officers responded and discovered they just wanted a person to leave. Officers later found the unwanted person and advised them they were trespassed from the residence.
At 9:34 p.m., Officers arrested a 43-year-old man on a Livingston County warrant for traffic offenses following a traffic stop on Turner St. and E. Herriman St. The man was unable to post the required $20,000.00 cash-only bond and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
Sunday, June 2nd
2:40 p.m., Officers responded to the 1300 block of Washington St. for a report of suspicious activity. Officers arrived and a 25-year-old man was identified and they found the man had a Cass County warrant for assault. The man was arrested and later taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
6:45 p.m., Officers assisted a Livingston County Deputy in serving two arrest warrants in the 10 block of Jennifer Lane and later assisted in the service of a search warrant.
