One Hundred Eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
At 2:48 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 400 block of Vine St. Officers responded and discovered there was no crime.
At 9:04 a.m., Officers took a report of assault in the 200 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. The investigation is ongoing.
At 11:52 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible counterfeit money in the 500 block of N. Washington St.
At 5:50 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department reporting a structure fire. Communications determined the fire was in another jurisdiction and that jurisdiction was notified.
At 9:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a consistent beeping in the 1400 block of Alexander St. Officers responded and discovered it was a testing device for internet.
At 9:39 p.m., Officers were dispatched to juveniles climbing on equipment in the 1300 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded and spoke with the juveniles who left the area. No report was filed at that time.
At 11:53 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department about a possible suicidal person. Officers spoke with the citizen and discovered the person was in another jurisdiction. The agency with jurisdiction was notified.
