A UTV crash on LIV 320 Thursday night left a passenger with serious injuries and the driver arrested. State Troopers investigated the crash that occurred at about 10:30 pm on LIV 320 at LIV 377, four miles north of Hale. According to the report, 24-year-old Justin Stuart of Hale was westbound on LIV 320 and failed to make it through a turn and the UTV overturned, ejecting the driver and passenger. The passenger, 33-year-old Jesus Berumen of Edgerton, Kansas, had serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. Stuart had minor injuries and was also taken to Hedrick Medical Center.
State Troopers also report Stuart was arrested early this morning for alleged DWI – resulting in a serious injury crash and for alleged careless and imprudent driving.
