A report of smoke showing at the Plaza Apartments in Trenton summoned Trenton Fire Fighters Thursday afternoon. The call came in about 4:15 pm as an alarm activated. The fire crew reports no smoke showing on arrival, but light smoke was found on the second floor.
The fire crew entered an apartment to find a pot on the stove that the tenant left on when they left the apartment. Fans were used to clear the smoke and the fire crew was on the scene for about 30 minutes,
