Betty Jean (Treon) Thompson 93, Of Breckenridge, MO passed away on Sunday July 21, 2024 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She was born on October 3, 1930 to her parents Arthur Treon and Mary (Zullig) Treon. Betty graduated from Mooresville High School. Betty married Earl Ray Thompson on May 19, 1950 at their home.
Betty was a farmer for many years.
She was a member of the Breckenridge Baptist Church Betty also was a Sunday school teacher. Betty enjoyed Gardening, Cattle, and most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Betty is survived by her son, Terry Thompson and his wife Ruth Thompson of Platte City, MO, daughter, Debra Maddux and her husband Montie Maddux of Breckenridge, MO, six grandchildren, Cade Thompson, Lori Maddux, Brian Maddux, Kevin Thompson, Amanda Thompson, Sarah Thompson as well as 15 great-grandchildren, 13 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.
A visitation service for Betty Jean (Treon) Thompson will be held on Thursday the 25th of July at 12:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO.
Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge, MO.
