Chillicothe Police Reports For Thursday and Friday

Nearly 100 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

At 9:19 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 400 block of Locust St. Officers responded and spoke with the reporting person. The suspicious person had left prior to Officers arrival.

At 9:38 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible fraudulent money in the 1000 block of S. Washington St.

At 12:00 p.m., Officers and Communications Officers (Dispatch) conducted a second day of active shooter training at the Chillicothe High School. This was to train the remaining members of the department. Eight Officers and three Communications Officers attended. This was in-house training for Chillicothe Police Department only.

At 4:13 p.m., Officers took a report of property damage. The investigation is ongoing.

At 5:43 p.m., Officers took a report of fraud in the 1100 block of Arcadia Rd. The investigation is ongoing.

At 7:23 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible stolen bicycles in the 1500 block of Calhoun St. Officers discovered who took the bikes and helped the owners recover them.

 

Eighty-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Friday.  Some of the calls include:

At 10:51 am Officers spoke to a woman who stated she was struck in the back of the head by a fellow employee. Officers identified the suspect as a 23-year-old female. The suspect was issued a citation for a non-injury assault.

At 04:07 pm Officers were called to assist a woman who reported she was struck by a vehicle and could not walk. The female was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Officers were able to identify the driver of the suspect vehicle and will be following up for criminal charges.

At 05:23 pm Officers spoke with a male subject who stated his identity had been stolen to take out a loan. The investigation continues

At 09:01 pm Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Washington Street in reference to a 4-5 year-old boy running around in the parking lot. The child’s parents were located and stated there would be no further issue.

Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
