Danny Stenzel 64, Of Chillicothe, MO passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2024 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1959 to his parents Reinholdt Lee Stenzel and Laura Esther Anderson.

 

 Danny enjoyed cleaning his cars (especially his mustangs), car cruzing, attending car shows, riding his motorcycle, going to the movies, bowling, shopping, fishing, planting ferns and palm trees, camping, and sampling wine. He also collected model cars, arcade games, old lunch boxes, old music records, cookie jars. However, he loved rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with his friends and family.

 

Danny is survived by his wife, Ellen Stenzel and their daughters, Rebecka Carman of Brookfield, Jessyka Noyes of Bucklin, and Jessica Gillilan of Chillicothe. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Damon’te Batye, Lexi Carman, Paisley Batye, Paxton Batye, Levi Hill, Dean Gillilan and Amelia Gillilan. Danny’s siblings, Garry Stenzel and his wife Margret of Clay Center, KS, Myrna Burkes and her husband James of San Antonio, TX, Laronda Corbin and her husband Steve of Chillicothe, MO, James Stenzel and Michael Swords of Atlanta Georgia, Tim Slattery and Jim Slattery of Chillicothe, MO, Sam Slattery and his wife Mary Ann of Chillicothe, MO, as well as several Neices and Nephews.

 

Danny is preceded in death by Laura Slatery, Jerry Slatery, Ronnie Stenzel and his brother David Stenzel.

 

A visitation service for Danny Stenzel will be held on Monday August 12th from 6pm to 8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 13th at 10am at Heritage Funeral Service.

 

Burial will take place at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, MO.

 

A luncheon will be held at Free Methodist Church following the burial.
