A collision in Daviess county at noon Friday resulted in minor injuries for a Hamilton woman when her vehicle was struck at the intersection of route CC and route D five miles north of Hamilton.
The crash occurred as Gina Saunders, age 61 of Hamilton, was traveling southbound on route CC. A vehicle driven by Abigail Caselman, age 29 of Cameron, was stopped at the intersection and failed to yield to Saunders and struck Saunders’ vehicle, with the impact causing Saunders’ vehicle into the northbound lane.
Saunders was transported by Daviess County EMS to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
