Saturday,
At 07:30 am Officers responded to the 500 block of Washington Street in reference to an intruder alarm. The alarm was accidentally activated by an employee.
At 10:53 am Officers responded to the 200 block of Washington Street for a lost wallet. Officers conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrest of a 65-year-old male who was found to have taken the wallet. Charges are pending for stealing, theft of a credit device and tampering with evidence. The man was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 11:57 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 3rd and Hickory Street and arrested a 20-year-old woman for driving while revoked. She was processed and released with a citation and a court date.
Sunday,
At 11:51 am Officers took a report of a domestic assault that occurred in the 400 block of Jackson Street. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
