The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for late August and early September includes numerous investigations and arrests.
Incident Reports:
August 30th, LCSO responded to the area of LIV 256 near the Grand River for an individual in crisis. Contact was made and the person was referred to North Central Missouri Mental Health.
August 30th, LCSO responded to the area of Chicago and 2nd Streets in Ludlow for an individual intentionally attempting to harm an animal by swerving towards the animal in a vehicle. As a result, 24-year-old Rhett Byler of Ludlow was issued a citation for careless and imprudent driving.
August 31st, LCSO responded to Avalon for a report of an individual knocking on doors and asking for help in the early morning hours. The person was located and was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
September 1st, deputy took a report of a dog bite in the 21000 block of LIV 359.
September 3rd, LCSO responded to the Utica Fire Department for an individual calling 911 and making suicidal remarks. The person was found to be in crisis and voluntarily went to Hedrick Medical Center.
September 3rd, LCSO completed an investigation into alleged violation of a protection order and tampering with a victim. The report was forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for consideration of formal charges.
September 6th, LCSO responded to Fellows Street at Division Street in Utica, for suspicious activity involving a man and woman knocking on doors asking for assistance and money. Deputies located the two, who were taken to Hedrick Medical Center by ambulance as the man was complaining of a broken ankle. Deputies identified them as 35-year-old Jennifer Jay of Racine and 43-year-old Mitchell York of Noel. They were camping on private property without permission. The tent was removed and they were verbally trespassed.
September 6th, deputies investigated an alleged theft from the 700 block of Depot Road in Mooresville. The stolen items were returned and no further action was taken.
Arrests:
August 27th, deputies arrested 18-year-old Brennan Pryor of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Assault. Pryor had turned himself in and was released after posting $5,000 cash bond.
August 27th, 52-year-old Carl Ash of Laredo was arrested for traveling 89 MPH in a 60 MPH zone on US 65 near LIV 208.
August 28th, 26-year-old Keaton Eddins of Hale was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Assault. Eddins had turned himself in and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.
August 28th, 34-year-old Callie Pfanner of Monroe City, was arrested for traveling 91 MPH in a 65 MPH on US 36 near LIV 259. He posted $250 cash bond and was released.
August 31st, 54-year-old Scotty Ireland of Chillicothe was arrested on a Grundy County warrant in the 1500 block of Clay Street in Chillicothe. Ireland was transferred to Grundy County authorities.
September 4th, 27-year-old Emily Dana of Mooresville was arrested in Associate Court on a Livingston County warrant for Burglary. She was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
September 5th, 24-year-old Skylar Loucks of Chillicothe, was arrested in Circuit Court on a Livingston County warrant. Loucks was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
September 8th, 46-year-old Nathan Duckworth of Kansas City was arrested for 91 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on US. 36 near LIV 408. He posted $250 cash bond and was released.
