Active Shooter Response Training will be conducted by the Chillicothe R-II School District and local agencies on February 10th. Students will not have classes that day as it is a Professional Development Day.
The active shooter response training will include Chillicothe, Livingston County, and Missouri agencies. Participating agencies will include the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Chillicothe Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation, Chillicothe Fire Department, and Hedrick Medical Center.

Practice to allow them to respond effectively.
This training opportunity, simulating an actual emergency to practice and evaluate response plans, will occur in the afternoon at Chillicothe High School.
The public may notice numerous emergency response vehicles at the site and public access will be restricted during the training. Livingston County Road and Bridge reports LIV 239 and Hornet Road will be closed during the exercise.
