The State’s Jobs report for March shows non-farm payroll increased by 13,900 jobs, private industry employment increased by 12,600 jobs, and government employment increased by 1,300 jobs.
Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased by one-tenth of a percentage point in March, to 3.8 percent. That is two-tenths of a percentage point higher than in March of 2024.
The monthly unemployment report with a breakdown by county will be released on April 25th.
