Betty Ann Link, aged 87, passed away on the 17th of April 2025 at her home, just southeast of Chillicothe. She was the beloved wife of Paul Link. They shared nearly 69 years of marriage.
Born in Dawn, Missouri, she was the daughter of Leroy and Gertrude Van Dusen. She graduated from Carrollton High School. She worked as a homemaker and daycare provider to many children, including her incredibly grateful grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe. She enjoyed many hobbies such as sewing, baking, gardening, and whatever project she could think of that week. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion. She would always welcome you in with a smile.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her brothers and sisters Madeline Crawford (Curt Crawford), Louise Burton (Nolan Burton), Susie Ballantyne (Gary Ballantyne), Phyllis Mehrhoff (Paul Mehrhoff), Karen Searcy (Roger Searcy), Sherry Leppin (Dale Leppin), and Mark Van Dusen, her children David Link (Nancy Link), Diane Dinwiddie (Randy Dinwiddie), Eric Link (Elizabeth Payton), and Cynthia Wilkerson (Tim Wilkerson), her grandchildren Zach Link (Becca Link), Emily Dinwiddie-Warner, Samantha Lewis (Andy Lewis), Abby Ellis (Chuck Ellis), Claudia Newton (Timothy Newton), Scott Link, Christopher Wilkerson (Devin Wilkerson), Ace Foley, Hannah Robinson (Andrew Robinson), Lawrence Link, Miraya Link, and Henry Link, her great grandchildren, Kylee Link, Charlee Warner, Harper Warner, Izabelle Lewis, Astra Wilkerson, Micah Wilkerson, Benjamin Reed, Wrenlee Warner, Lillie Wilkerson, Kyleigh Lewis, Serenity Newton, Jaxon Reed, Kyle Wilkerson, Scarlet Newton, Clayton Link, Evie Warner, Lincoln Ellis, Timothy Newton, AJ Robinson, Lincoln Robinson, and River Newton. She was predeceased by her siblings Frankie Van Dusen (Dot Van Dusen) and Barbara Englert (Sonny Englert), her grandsons Trever Link and James Wilkerson, and great grandson Kaden Lewis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban’s Catholic Church on May 30st, at 10:30 am. A private family inurnment will be held at St. Columban’s Cemetery at a later date.
