Weldon says they will need to determine if there is still a requirement to keep COVID vaccine for children on hand.
The board reviewed the two bids for upgrading the fire alarm system at the Health Center. The low bid came with a recommendation from another health center. Midwest Alarm presented a bid of $17,600, which included the electrician to install the wiring and alarm mounts. The other bid was nearly twice the price and did not include the electrician.
It was also recommended to have a monitoring company for the alarm. That cost is $600 a year.
Pending the answering of several questions by Midwest Alarm, the board approved the bid.
The Board was also told the Carport has been listed for sale, and they are accepting bids through May 29th. The bid process and requirements are scaring those who are interested away from making a bid.
