Serious Injuries in Caldwell County Crash

Two crashes in the area counties resulted in injuries Wednesday afternoon.

At about 5:10 pm in Caldwell County, a two-vehicle crash on Route BB at Tri-County Line Road, left one of the drivers with serious injuries.  The report indicates a 19-year-old woman from Cameron was eastbound and did not make it through a curve and dropped a mobile device, she crossed the center line and ran into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Cameron woman.  The 19-year-old was taken to Liberty Hospital with Serious injuries.   The 55-year-old was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

A two-vehicle crash in Grundy County left one driver and his passengers with moderate injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 1:30 pm as a 49-year-old man from Princeton was southbound near Tindall and crossed the centerline.  A northbound vehicle attempted to avoid the crash and the vehicle collided and then ran off the road.  The northbound driver from Trenton was not injured.  The southbound driver and two passengers, a 10-year-old boy and a 73-year-old woman had moderate injuries and they were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.  The other driver was not injured.
