Two minor injury crashes occurred in the area counties.
Friday in Livingston County, a single-vehicle crash at about 8:15 left a 62-year-old Chillicothe woman injured. Troopers report the woman was southbound on Highway 190, 4 miles west of Chillicothe, and swerved to avoid a deer. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence. She was taken to Hedrick Medical Center with minor injuries. She was wearing a safety belt.
Sunday in Linn County, a motorcycle crash left a 22-year-old New Boston man with minor injuries. The report states the man was northbound on Highway 11, north of New Boston, and failed to make it through a curve. He ran off the left side of the road and was ejected from the bike. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
