A Cowgill man was arrested and booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center on charges of alleged rape, child molestation, sodomy, and endangering the welfare of a child, which are alleged to have occurred between June of 2025 and January 1st of this year. Forty-five-year-old Shane Franklin McBee was booked into the jail following his arrest on a warrant issued July 1st by Judge Jason Kanoy. Shane Franklin McBee is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center with no bond allowed.
