A Trenton man had minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Lawrence County. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 6:16 pm, as a 49-year-old Trenton man was westbound on I-44 near Sarcoxie, and he swerved to avoid a piece of equipment in the roadway, but struck the object and ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. The passenger, a 23-year-old man from Trenton, had minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment. The driver was not injured.
