An Active Shooter Training session will be held at the Chillicothe Elementary School on Monday. The school will not be in session, as this is an in-service day for the staff. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says the School Resource Officers have organized the training.

The active shooter response training brings together local emergency agencies, including the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Chillicothe Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation, Chillicothe Fire Department and Emergency Services, and Livingston County Central E-911 Dispatch.
