A Polo man who was booked for alleged Abuse or Neglect of a child – serious emotional or physical injury and Endangering the welfare of a child – serious physical injury, made a court appearance Thursday. Twenty-two-year-old Matthew L. Munson remains in custody following a bond hearing, where the judge set a cash-only bond at $500,000.
The probable cause statement indicates the child shows injuries that include characteristics of shaken baby syndrome.
His initial appearance is set for August 13th.
