The 2027 Chillicothe Pet Licenses are available now at City Hall. The annual pet license for cats and dogs is due each year by January 1st. The license is available through the City Clerk’s office.
The cost of the license for a cat or dog that has been spayed or neutered is $7.50 per pet. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, the cost is doubled – $15.00.
Licenses that are not renewed before January 1st will be subject to a late fee. All registration fees collected help to support the local Livingston County Humane Society’s Animal Shelter.
Pet owners will need to fill out the Pet License form and will need to supply proof of vaccination for each animal.
Under Chillicothe city ordinance, no household can have more than 4 animals, with no more than 3 dogs.
