Chillicothe Police handled 77 calls for service on Tuesday. The calls include:
Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic assault investigation and also helped a neighboring county with a possible child abuse case.
Officers conducted several welfare checks, including an elderly man who appeared lost and another person experiencing a crisis who was provided assistance resources.
Tuesday night, officers investigated a disturbance on Calhoun Street. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
Later, police responded to Thompson Drive for a suspicious person. A resident reported someone in dark clothing attempted to enter the property by climbing a fence. The suspect fled and was not located when officers searched the area.
