Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Eighty calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

Officers and EMS responded to a disturbance on Jennifer Lane involving a man believed to be experiencing a mental health crisis. The man refused medical treatment, and no report was filed.

Officers checked on a woman reportedly living in a vehicle near Edgewood Cemetery. She was advised of the city’s camping ordinance.

Officers also investigated a report of a man yelling at people near Jackson Street and the railroad tracks.

Late Wednesday night, officers stopped a suspected impaired driver after a 911 caller reported a gray SUV unable to maintain their lane on Highway 65. The driver was arrested for DWI and was later released with a citation. The vehicle was towed.
