Pentatonic Chimes were installed at the Lillian DesMarias Youth Library through a grant from the Chillicothe Rotary Club. The chimes are installed on the west wall, facing Washington Street. Chillicothe Rotary Club President Sue Horine-Ligthtfoot says the grant for the chimes was awarded in 2025 to support a project led by Rotary 2025-2026 President Ben Arthaud.
Lightfoot says they are for Music Education.
Community education and engagement.
The chimes are available for use by both children and adults at any time they are not in use for a library program.
