Crash Leaves Two With Serious Injuries

A three-vehicle crash in Howard County left two with serious injuries  Wednesday afternoon.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at 3:30 pm in Missouri 87, just south of Missouri 187 in Howard County.

According to the report, a 32-year-old Mendon man was southbound and had crossed into the northbound lane, striking a northbound vehicle driven by a 75-year-old woman from Salisbury, then overturned.  The Salisbury woman’s vehicle went off the right side of the road and was struck by another vehicle.

The Mendon man has serious injuries, but refused transport.  The Salisbury woman had serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia.  The other driver was not injured.
