Sentencing has been passed on a Carrollton man following a guilty plea to statutory sodomy in the 2nd degree.
Howard Eugene Hughes Jr. appeared before Judge Kevin Walden; Hughes will spend 7 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, which will conduct a sexual offender assessment on him. Hughes will be listed by the Children’s Division as a perpetrator of child abuse or neglect in the central registry.
The incident involved occurred in October of last year.
