A guilty plea entered by a Pattonsburg man on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child was rejected by Judge Daren Adkins. Forty-four-year-old Joshua L. Baker of Pattonsburg entered a guilty plea. As part of the plea agreement, charges of abuse of a child and domestic assault were to be dismissed. The court rejected the plea ”because the facts are inconsistent with guilt.” Baker is now scheduled to appear in Daviess County Court on October 7th for plea and trial setting.
