The Livingston County Library is the recipient of a National Endowment For The Arts (NEA) Big Read grant of $5,000. Library Director Sue Lightfoot says the grant includes programming and books to celebrate Freedom 250. The grant includes a kick-off event on September 10th at the Main Library, a book – Harriet Tubman ~ The Road To Freedom – provided for discussion, and additional events through the end of the year.
The book will be distributed following the program.
The book discussion dates include October 8th, November 12th, and December 10th.
